About Jacksons

History

Jacksons Drawing Supplies commenced trading on January 1, 1955. Prior to that date Jacksons traded as 'Jordan & Jackson' from premises in Hannan Street, Kalgoorlie Western Australia. Initially, Jacksons Drawing Supplies was located in a small, first floor shop at 135a William St, Perth.

Since then branches have opened around the Perth metropolitan area, regional Western Australia and the Northern Territory. There are now 14 branches trading under the name Jacksons Drawing Supplies as well as a specialist ceramics division known as Jacksons Ceramic Crafts, dealing in pottery and craft supplies.

Due to our commitment to the general art community Jacksons Drawing Supplies enjoys a high profile, both nationally and with many suppliers world wide. We have achieved this status with the valuable assistance of our loyal and competent staff who now number over 90. Many of our employees have high qualifications in their field of fine art and have been with the company in excess of 15 years.
