How to Create an Account
To create an account click on the ‘Log In’ option at the top of the page and select “Create Account” in the new customer section.
From here select your customer type, either School, Wholesale or Retail and complete the online form. This information is stored securely and can be updated by you whenever you later log-in.
NB: Retail customers - we suggest you give an address where you will most likely be during the day to receive deliveries, for example your work address, as you maybe be asked to sign for your parcel. If you are not there to sign for and receive your parcel it will be taken to the nearest post office and a card left for you to present when you collect it.When you have entered and checked all your details click 'Continue.'
Activate your Account
You must activate your account before you can log-in and make any purchases. When you have filled out the Create Account form you will be sent an email with instructions about how to activate your account.
Retail customers will be able to shop immediately whereas Wholesale and School customers may have to wait a short while for their accounts to be verified by Jacksons admin. For any enquiries regarding your Wholesale or School account please contact us.
Once you have clicked on the Activate Account link in your email you will be redirected to the Jacksons website and be able to start shopping. Contained in this email is your Validation Key. This string of numbers and letters will need to be entered during the checkout process so be sure to save the email.
If you already have an Account
When you return to shop at Jacksons Online, just Log In using your email address and password in the Checkout Personal Info section.
Forgotten your password?
No problem. Follow the link provided on the Log In page and we'll email you a new secure password. Then, when you next log-in using this new password you can change it to something more memorable in the My Account section.
Shop by product category, type or search
To make shopping easy we have grouped our products into categories. Click on any text links or category pictures to navigate to the products you're interested in. View each category as a list and click on individual products for more information.
If you're looking for a particular type of product, for example 'Paints' or 'Canvases', use the Product Types drop-down menu in the left-hand column.
Also in the left-hand column is a Search box. Enter a keyword, such as 'Oil' or 'Westart', and you'll be presented with every product available that matches your search criteria.
Add items to your Shopping Cart
When you find a product you want to buy simply click the 'Buy Now' button. To confirm your selection you will be redirected to your Shopping Cart to confirm that are happy with your selection. If you wish to continue shopping, use the Continue Shopping button to return to the site for more shopping. By default one of each item is added to your Shopping Cart each time you click the 'Buy Now' button. To purchase multiples you can change the quantity for individual products in the Shopping Cart, and click the 'Update Shopping Cart' button to recalculate your sub-total.
If you decide against buying a particular item, check the Remove box and click 'Update Shopping Cart.' That item will be removed from your list of purchases and your sub-total will be re-calculated.
If you are logged-in and for any reason can't complete a purchase, your current Shopping Cart is automatically saved, ready for the next time you log-in.
Take your shopping to the Checkout
When you've finished adding items to your Shopping Cart click the 'Checkout' button on the Shopping Cart page. If you are not already logged-in you will need to do so now.

Log-in using your email address and password.
Checkout – Step 1 – Payment Information
This page displays options for your payment method. You can choose to pay by credit card or by an authorised Jacksons account. Please select your preferred option.
This page also displays your currently selected Billing Address. If you want to add a new Billing Address click the 'Change Address' button.
You may also add comments about you order in the box provided.
Schools or Wholesale Clients must provide a valid purchase order in this space.
Checkout – Step 2 – Order Confirmation
This page allows you to review your entire order and make any changes. You can change the deliver address here by using the edit button next to the delivery address and edit your product selection.
You may also change your billing address, payment method and the comments about your order in this section.
When satisfied click the 'Confirm Order' button. Your payment will then be authorised over a fixed, secure and encrypted connection.
Checkout – Step 3 – Your Order Has Been Processed
That's it! That's how easy it is to make a purchase at Jacksons online. Your order will now be processed and should be despatched either that day or the following day (depending on what time you placed your order).
You should now receive an email confirmation of your order and payment for your records.
Log-Out
When you've finished shopping at Jacksons online it's always a good idea to log-out to keep others from seeing your account details. After certain sensitive actions, or after a period of inactivity of approx. 20 minutes, you will automatically be logged-out. To log back in, just click the Log In link in the navigation bar and enter your email address and password.
