Proudly WA: Jacksons Supports the Yalagan Group to Inspire Young Artists

Jacksons x Yalagan

CREATIVITY FOR COMMUNITY

At Jacksons, we believe art has the power to connect, uplift and inspire. As part of our ongoing Proudly WA Owned & Operated initiative, we’re committed to supporting the creative communities that make Western Australia so vibrant.

In that spirit, we’re proud to announce our partnership with the Yalagan Group – a 100% Aboriginal-owned and operated organisation creating opportunities for First Nations people through training, education and community development.

Empowering local schools through creativity

To support Yalagan’s community initiatives, Jacksons has donated 20 Westart Acrylic Starter Sets to schools connected to the program. Each set, valued at $49.95, will help students explore painting and creative expression through professional-quality materials.

This partnership not only provides essential art supplies, but also encourages young people to discover the joy of making, experimenting and expressing themselves through art.

Building stronger, more creative communities

For Jacksons, giving back to local communities is more than a gesture – it’s part of who we are. As a WA-born business, we’re passionate about supporting homegrown creativity and ensuring that art is accessible to everyone.

Through initiatives like this, we aim to nurture the next generation of artists while honouring the cultural richness and creative spirit of Western Australia.
