Part-time Customer Service Representative

Jacksons Drawing Supplies is a long-established WA family owned company seeking a Part-Time Customer Service Representative at our Head Office in Balcatta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support & Sales: Provide technical product advice, process orders, generate quotes, and follow up on inquiries.
  • Problem-Solving: Handle customer concerns professionally and find effective solutions.
  • Communication & Coordination: Manage inbound and outbound calls, emails, and liaise with internal teams (sales reps, purchasing, warehouse) to ensure smooth order processing.
  • Order & Payment Processing: Process sales, invoices, and payments with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong connections with customers and maintain a high level of service.

What We're Looking For

Casual Warehouse Store Person

Jacksons Drawing Supplies "Jacksons" require a mature minded storeperson to assist in various divisions within our warehouse, located in Balcatta.

Casual position during business hours of:
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
(weekly hours vary & subject to change)


Do you have:
• General knowledge of warehousing
• Computer knowledge (essential)
• Forklift ticket/experienced with reach truck (preferred by not essential)
• Experience with extensive SKU’s
• Current Police clearance
• Current C Class drivers licence

• Ability to work unsupervised

Lead School & Wholesale Sales

Jacksons Drawing Supplies a long-established WA family owned company, is seeking a Part-Time Lead School & Wholesale Representative.

Sales Representative duties will include calling on selected schools, art groups & wholesale customers to service and increase business. You will be provided with an existing customer base although this portfolio is required to grow via acquisition of new business to Jacksons.

 

Skill Requirements:

  • Lead the School & Wholesale Sales Portfolio
  • Mentor & Coach School Sales Representative
  • To be customer service focused with the ability to build long lasting relationships
  • To achieve and potentially exceed sales targets 
  • To develop business outside existing customer base 
  • To work autonomously and be self-motivated 
  • Possess strong ability to prospect, negotiate and close sales
  • To have strong presentation and time management skills 
  • To understand and identify customer's needs and translate these into sales opportunities 

Duties Include (but not limited to):

  • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up
  • Identify and resolve client concerns/issues
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery of product and services
  • Recording sales and order information and sending copies to the Customer Service Team
  • Other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have telephone sales experience in a consultative sales environment
  • Results oriented, punctual & efficient
  • Enthusiasm for working in the industry
  • Great at building rapport with others on the phone and in person
  • Previous exposure to Retail Express system is advantageous
  • Has a drive to succeed & happy to work hard to make it happen
  • Previous art industry exposure is advantageous 
  • Do you hold a current Drivers license and own your own vehicle?

  • Do you have previous employment as an Educator or Sales representative?
