Draftex ruling pen is a high quality German made instrument for drawing lines with a variety of different media.

It is possible to use this pen to draw in ink, paint or in fact anything with the viscosity to flow.
You can load the pen by using an eyedropper or dipping it in to your chosen media, adjust the width of the line using the thumbscrew and draw your line on any material that suits.
Inks will stay held in the pen while vertical but need to be emptied if you are going to lay it down or put it away.
The tips of the pen can be honed to a sharper point if a finer line is required or when they wear down from prolonged use.
