The Hovel walnut base has a dual function, as a home for your Hovel Pencil Plane when using it to beautifully sharpen your pencils and as a chamber for shavings as you sharpen. It is the perfect, safe place to store your Hovel sharpener so that the blade is not exposed. Machined from dark walnut, the wooden base is the perfect companion to your Hovel and looks great on any desk.

This product is sold separately to the Hovel sharpener. We recommend purchasing this wooden base whenever you purchase the sharpener. 

Cork bases have been released in London but we are yet to receive our stock, when we do receive them we will create a separate listing.
