Derwent Coloursoft Pencil Sets

The soft textured strip in Coloursoft pencils is perfect for quick, easy lay-down of large blocks of colour. The velvety softness of the core releases rich, dense colour with a stroke that is perfect for mixing and blending.

The large 4 mm colour strip is housed in a strong and durable 8 mm Cedar wood barrel.  Despite its soft texture, Coloursoft sharpens to a fine point and works equally well for detailed illustrations or bold, contemporary still-life drawings and portraiture.  Coloursoft pencils do not bloom easily and have superior lightfast ratings to similar brands of soft textured pencils. The Aubergine coloured barrel features a colour coded end and silver imprint detailing range, colour name and number. Presented in a metal tin.
