Ideal for traditional painting and drawing, heavy media applications, mounting and mixed media work.
The surface is smooth for detailed work and mounting. It’s also rigid for impasto, encaustic and craft work. The clean, sanded edges allow you to hang your finished work without a frame.
Create an archival surface by applying the appropriate ground for your project. Conservators highly recommend that wood panels be fully primed on both front and back to ensure the long-term stability of your artwork.
Please note: Unfinished solid wood may expand and contract with changes in humidity and temperature.
